In 1969 after a year of camping in a “homemade” camper, Terry and Elaine Masters purchased a Starcraft fold-down as a family Christmas present for their family of 2 young boys. We grew up camping, as did many other families at that time. When people saw the camper in our yard over 50 years ago, it invited those families in to hear about our adventures. Not long after, the idea of Masters Camper Sales was born. They borrowed $4000 from a Grandparent and purchased 4 fold-down campers. Through Masters RV, mom and dad have traveled to all 50 states and to dozens of countries all over the world. In fact, if you asked my dad if there’s anywhere he’d like to travel, he’d tell you, “we’ve done it all.”

I am proud of my parents’ vision to achieve their dream of owning this business for 56 years and their resilience to persevere through many economic highs and lows along the way. Our family has experienced personal family loss of my only sibling, Daryl, and more recently their declining health. I am forever grateful that our family has been able to support and encourage countless families to enjoy the world of camping and exploring God’s beautiful creation. After several years of declining health, we have made the difficult decision to bring this chapter to a close. It’s been an honor to witness the legacy they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve and how many lives they’ve impacted. Their dream has always been to bring families together, create adventures, and bring nature closer to our homes. After they’ve given so much to all of us, it is now time that we let them step away, so that we may take care of them.

Beginning July 1, 2026, Masters RV Centre, Inc. will begin to finalize all sales, service, and storage. The location will remain open only to clean-up the store, shop, and grounds for the future. The Masters Family thanks you for the relationships and the support since 1970!
